Because my contract with Alltel will soon expire and my phone is now over two years old, broken and can barely keep a charge, and also being that I don't want to enter into another contract, I am now preparing to go back to the Tracfone service. As I was shopping around the site I notice that my all-time favorite phone is still available for sale (reconditioned, but still available for sale!) I originally was going to use my old Nokia 5100 I had while I was in college (it's apparently soooo old Nokia's replaced the phone with the same model number, LOL!), but upon this deal I couldn't resist!


I've also found and purchased all five of the Nokia OEM Xpress-on faceplates, which I found dirt cheap, so now I have a color for every day of the week (Monday through Friday, that is...):



I'm sure Nokia will take no time in replacing this phone as they did with the 5100 as I'm quite well aware it's pretty old, but I cannot help but appreciate its simplicity, and well, it's just so cute! When it comes to phones, I prefer to just keep things simple - none of that Blackberry or Bluetooth or whatever for me! (Besides, it's that much cheaper...)
