High Cholesterol
Recently I went for a checkup and found out my cholesterol is rather high... a whopping 215! So I have committed myself to a diet consisting only of Cheerios (honey nut/fruity), oatmeal (only the yummy stuff), light yogurt and taking a women's multivitamin everyday. Mother tells me not to worry, "there's a little pill out there for only $100/month and everything will be okay" but I'm going to see if this is just a result of my laying around for the past six months. So I will be having another checkup later this week to see if maybe, just maybe I made some progress on this (I found out on the 26th). I've also incorporated some rather vigorous exercise in my daily routine, hopefully pictures soon as nobody would ever guess I could much less even would do what I've been doing for the past week and a half. Otherwise my blood pressure is good, maybe even a tad on the low side, and I've put on 30 lbs. since my last annual. You'd think with the lighter diet and some exercise I would've lost some weight but in fact I've actually gained an additional two pounds since the checkup!
I don't even care for food all that much, and when I do I don't even eat that much, so therefore I'm not even sure that this is something that I can even control. Heart disease is very prominent in my family, so I wouldn't be surprised, but I guess a healthier diet never hurt anybody!
