Jumped the Gun
After outlining an approximate graduation date in my pursuit for my bachelor's, I've decided to "jump the gun" and enroll last minute in Term III for my first course, English Composition II. I had originally planned and anticipated to take Federal Taxation II as I thought it would be great for it to coincide with my tax preparation work with HABCO; however upon reviewing the required textbook's cost and the availability (or lack thereof) of financial aid for this term, the text for English Composition II was much cheaper and therefore I decided to enroll for that instead. And I'm sure glad I did as this is my first course and online at that, as well as the fact that writing actually DOES NOT come easily to me so therefore I want to take advantage of my enthusiasm in coming back to school in hopes I will do better in this class than I will have otherwise anticipated. (Besides, I will feel better about getting those Gen Ed classes out of the way in order to focus more on the "fun" stuff, say well, that Federal Taxation class?) And by waiting to take the "fun" stuff will keep the information much fresher and more recent for when I go to sit for the CPA exam, my ultimate goal. ;)
So yes, I admit that writing does not come easily to me, and maybe it's not so much that as it is my impatience in finding the right words and phrases to express myself as well as I would like to - writing just takes sooo much time and it sure takes quite a bit out of me. It is a very rewarding process however, as when I do finally finish, I can feel pretty confident, as I have quite the piece of work I can be quite proud of, such as this blog post! ;)
